At Path of Compassion Family Therapy (PCFT), we believe exceptional clinicians are developed through mentorship, collaboration, and meaningful clinical experiences. We are committed to supporting registered associate therapists as they build confidence, expand their clinical skills, and successfully achieve licensure.
We are currently seeking registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs), Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCCs), and Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSWs) who are passionate about providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Utilize evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, systemic, and attachment-based approaches
- Participate in weekly supervision, case consultation, and professional development meetings
Professional Engagement
As part of our collaborative team, associates are expected to contribute to the growth and visibility of the practice by participating in occasional non-clinical activities, including: One per month
- Writing or contributing to approximately one educational blog or mental health article per quarter
- Participating in occasional marketing or community outreach initiatives
- Assisting with social media or educational content when requested
- Representing the practice professionally during community events or presentations, when opportunities arise
These activities are intended to support both your professional development and the continued growth of our practice.
Ideal Candidates
We are looking for clinicians who:
✔ Are currently registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an AMFT, APCC, or ACSW

✔ Are passionate about serving individuals, couples, and families

✔ Are committed to trauma-informed and evidence-based care
✔ Value mentorship, teamwork, and lifelong learning
✔ Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred (but not required)
✔ Have an interest in mindfulness, somatic interventions, or other holistic approaches to healing
